The world-famous Notting Hill Carnival is the highlight of the year, and the month of August, taking place over the last weekend of August. This massive street festival celebrates Caribbean culture with vibrant parades, live music, dancing, and food stalls. It’s one of the largest street festivals in Europe, attracting visitors from around the world. It is approximately 10-15 minutes walk away from The Abbey, should you want to either take part, or watch all the excitement.

Many of our guests have enjoyed attending the carnival over the years, and we absolutely love being part of the excitement. This is a fantastic time to visit The Abbey, as the vibrant celebration fills the streets with an unmatched atmposhere. Every year we look forward to not only seeing the carnial, but our guests who attend, come to life. The Notting Hill Carnival transforms the neighbourhood with its lively spirit, and being part of the community, we are proud to share and shed light on this iconic celebration that brings people together from all over the world.
